On August 14th, a boy discovered a skull on Signal Mountain. An intensive search for the body was conducted by park rangers, the Jackson Police Department and the Teton County Sheriff's Office, and it was discovered on August 27th. Positive identification and notification of the family occurred on August 29th. The FBI has been notified, and is now acting as lead agency in the investigation.
