No animals were sighted, no incidents were reported. This evening, (7/22) the rangers will again frequent the area on horseback and will be accompanied by dogs. It is felt that dogs will serve to draw the coyotes out into the open. Swain County Deputies and NPS rangers pulled and burned 127 plants 8 to 12 feet in height, with an estimated value of 1.5 million dollars. No suspects, no arrests.
