Summary:
A husband and wife were riding their bikes southbound on the parkway when an
unidentified white male in a small rust-colored pickup truck with blue-on-
white license plates stopped and called them over to his truck. As the man
approached the truck, the driver pulled out a small caliber rifle and pointed
it at him. Both the man and woman turned and ran, but the driver of the truck
was still able to hit the man three times in the leg with bird shot. A ranger
arrived on the scene shortly thereafter; a search was mounted for the vehicle,
but neither it nor the driver was found. The man is in the hospital
recovering from superficial wounds; the woman was not injured.

Summary:
F.L. was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a semi truck.
NPS Rangers responded, an ambulance was called. Ambulance personnel performed
CPR, F.L. was pronounced dead at the hospital. An investigation of the
accident is continuing.
