Summary:
Mr. A.E.W. and a companion were walking through the park when two
individuals came out from behind some trees. Without any apparent
provocation, one began shooting at them with a semi-automatic handgun.
A.E.W. was fatally wounded; his companion fled on foot. Washington Metro
PD is investigating. No further information is yet available.
