J.L. had last been seen near Laurel Lake at noon on the 5th; he had been with out a pack and was wearing shorts and tennis shoes. A search was initiated and his car was found at the String Lake trail head that evening. A full search was begun on the 7th. Currently the park is using 40 ground searchers, 2 helicopters and 8 dog teams.
