Incident Summary
Early on the morning of the 16th, a fire destroyed an entrance station kiosk
at Elwah. Damage is estimated at $15,000. A cash register with no money in
it was also destroyed, but the safe within held up well. County fire
department investigators have determined that a window to the kiosk was
broken, and that flammable liquid was poured in and ignited. There are no
suspects so far. The park will erect a temporary kiosk, which should be
operating by Thursday or Friday.
