3) FIRE ACTD/ITY - 239 fires for 10,573 acres in last 24 hairs.

4) ANALYSIS - A high number of new ignitions have occurred throughout
the West due to lightning activity. Heavy use of airtankers and
smokejumpers is occurring.

5) PROGNOSIS - Activity is expected to increase: due to additional holdover
fires from yesterday's lightning activity. A RED FLAG WATCH has been
issued for thunderstorms and high winds in Utah. Heavy use of initial
resources is expected to continue.
