No prescribed burns were reported during the week. Big Thicket
postponed a scheduled burn due to high moisture.

Widespread precipitation in the Western, Rocky Mountain, and
Southwestern states greatly reduced fire danger and wildfire
activity. No major fires were reported on NPS lands, and all
project fires being supported by NPS personnel were contained.
The number of NPS personnel committed to interagency suppression
actions dropped from 415 to 66 during the week.
