INCIDENTS
89-331 - Fort Jefferson (Florida) - Follow-up on Ship Grounding
The 'Mavro Vetranic' was refloated early yesterday morning. No spills or
pollution were reported. Salvage crews are now conducting inner-vessel
surveys to determine if damage was done to the ship's interior; Coast Guard
officials are also inspecting the ship. The Coast Guard's board of inquiry
will begin its work in the near future. (Don Finefrock, United Press

STAFF STATUS
Loach on leave, Hodapp and Kreis on travel, Farabee at drug meeting in Rhode
Island, Healy at USPP conference.
Last day in the office for Andy Ringgold, who ECD's at Cape Cod on Sunday,
and Dave Butts, who heads back to Boise and retirement.
