MORNING REPORT

CC: RAD Information Net
Day/date: Tuesday, February 6, 1990
INCIDENTS
90-23 - Cape Cod (Massachusetts) - Body Discovered
On February 2nd, a park visitor discovered a boot containing the
remains of a human foot below the high tide line on the beach in
Hatches Harbor. A search of park beaches from Race Point to Long
Point was conducted but no further sign of the victim was found.
Current speculation is that the remains were those of a Wellfleet
fisherman who drowned in Cape Cod Bay last spring. Park rangers
and local and Federal authorities are investigating.
(Dennis Burnett, DR, CACO, via CompuServe message, 2/5/90).
