INCIDENTS
90-64 - Amistad (Texas) - Follow-up on Drowning
On April 14th, J.K., 22, disappeared from a boat in which he was
cruising with two companions. On the 19th, J.K.'s body was located in
Mexican waters on lake Amistad by a commercial fisherman from Mexico and
subsequently recovered by rangers. The fisherman reported having seen
J.K. and his two companions on the day the incident took place about a
mile from the international boundary. He described the boat as traveling
very fast and making sharp turns with great amounts of water spraying into
the air. Military investigators from Laughlin Air Force Base are

3) FIRE ACTIVITY - 404 fires for 3,855 acres over the weekend.
4) ANALYSIS - One air tanker from the Southeast and one lead plane
from Boise have been moved to Minnesota. Moderate to high fire
activity is occurring in Minnesota, with minor activity in the
Southeast.
5) PROGNOSIS - Fire activity is expected to continue in the East.
