INCIDENTS
No new incident reports this morning.
FIRE ACTIVITY
1) PREPAREDNESS LEVEL - II
One geographic area experiencing high fire danger. Numerous Class A, B, and
C fires occurring and a potential exists for escapes to larger (project)
fires. Minimal mobilization of resources from other geographic areas
occurring. The potential exists for mobilizing additional resources from
other geographic areas.

3) NPS NARPATIVES -
- Everglades (Florida) -
* Pumpsite Fire - The fire is located just over a mile north of park
headquarters, but is not considered to be a threat because it is
burning away from that area and because Taylor Slough runs between the
fire and the headquarters1 buildings. Three firefighters and an engine
are currently committed, and another helicopter will be brought in for
recon purposes today.
4) NATIONAL FIRE ACTIVITY - 143 fires for 489 acres in past 24 hours.
