INCIDENTS
90-450 - Virgin Islands (Virgin Islands) - Search and Rescue
SERO has received a preliminary report from the park advising that a search
is underway for a person who disappeared when a boat capsized in the park on
December 22nd. A second person on the boat was rescued and brought to
safety. Details to follow. (CompuServe message from Troy Lissimore,

90-451 - Natchez Trace (Mississippi/Alabama/Tennessee) - MVA with Fatality
Just before 3 a.m. on December 22nd, H.C., 26, of French Camp,
Mississippi, was killed in a one-car motor vehicle accident at milepost
174.5 on the parkway. H.C. was heading northbound when he crossed the
center line, ran off the roadway and collided head-on with a tree. Initial
investigative reports from park rangers indicate that H.C. may have fallen
asleep at the wheel. The vehicle had no other occupants. (CompuServe
