A search of the vehicle conducted subsequent to the arrest led to the discovery of a variety of drugs, including cocaine and marijuana. One of the men agreed to cooperate with the local drug task force and the information he provided resulted in the execution of a search warrant in a motel room in the nearby community of Sequim. Rangers seized $6,000 in cash, about an ounce of cocaine wrapped in individual bundles, two .357 revolvers and a police scanner.
