Day/Date: Monday, February 24, 1992

INCIDENTS

No incident reports received.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

No reports today.

OPERATIONAL NOTES

1) Each regional office and all of the parks participating in the
Servicewide reservation system have either received or will soon receive
brochures on the reservation system printed by Mistix. Examination of these
brochures shows that both the family and group campground brochures contain
several serious errors regarding telephone numbers listed for parks. Until
the extent of these errors can be fully determined and appropriate
corrective actions can be taken, these brochures should not be distributed.
In some cases, the numbers listed are main park switchboard numbers or
numbers for specific offices that should not receive campground calls.
Corrections can be called to Carl Christensen in Western Region Ranger
Services at FTS 484-3921. Once the correct numbers for all parks on the
reservation system have been established, a correction sheet for the
brochures will probably be produced. Brochures should not be distributed
until these sheets are available. [Carl Christensen, RAD/WRO]
