INCIDENTS
94-213 - Point Reyes (California) - Weapons Arrest
On the afternoon of Sunday, May 10th, ranger Paige Ritterbusch received a
report of a suspicious person at the Limantour Beach parking area. Upon
arrival, she contacted 46-year-old C.G. C.G.'s truck had
numerous registration violations, and he was found to be in possession of a
six inch knife concealed on his person, a wooden bat, a double barrelled
shotgun, a .30 calibre carbine, a .44 caliber revolver, and a taser mounted
in the ready position on the truck's floorboard. He was arrested without

3) FIRE REPORTS -
* Mother's Day, Saguaro - The fire did not gain in size on Monday night.
Two type I crews were assigned to the fire yesterday morning to continue
working its perimeter; they were supported by a type III helicopter. Low
pressure moved in during the day, bringing some rain to the area. The fire
was contained at 6 p.m. and will be controlled by 6 p.m. today. The park
reports intense media interest in the fire; three members of the park's
staff gave over 50 interviews on Sunday and Monday.
4) ANALYSIS - Minor fire activity was reported yesterday in the South,
Southwest and East.
5) PROGNOSIS - Cool, wet weather will dominate in the Southwest, thereby
minimizing fire activity. Some initial attack will occur in the East and
South.
