INCIDENTS
96-688 - Lassen Volcanic NP (California) - Follow-up on Search
C.C. and her two children were found about 15 miles south of Paynes
Creek and 25 miles southwest of the park on December 11th. C.C. became lost
while driving on logging roads in search of a Christmas tree. Her vehicle
then bogged down in thick mud. C.C. and her children remained with it until
found by county SAR personnel. All three were hungry but in good condition.
Park personnel were active on all days of the search in areas immediately
