The calendar appears every other Monday as an addendum to the Morning
Report.

EXCEPT in instances in which registration dates close much earlier.

CONFERENCE

Details: Over 30 sessions covering essential competencies for
interpreters, curators, historical and landscape
architects, historians and education specialists.
Features many NPS programs and parks. Sample sessions:
Underground Railroad roundtable, interpreting
religious sites, women's history at military sites,
African-American women in historic preservation.

Conference: NPS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH TRAINING CONFERENCE
Location: Radisson Hotel and Conference Center, Albuquerque, NM
Details: The conference will offer training in occupational
safety and health to all employees, supervisors and
managers. Included are sessions on DO-50 and RM-50,
workmen's comp, NPS/OSHA partnerships, the federal
"Worker 2000" initiative, accident reduction and
reporting, OSHA compliance at the local level, Lyme
disease, indoor air quality, radiation safety, medical
standards, and ergonomic standards. Three 24-hour
certification courses will also be offered - OSHA 600,
hazwoper, and root cause analysis.
