October 26 - 28: FIFTH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL PRESERVATION TRADES
WORKSHOP, Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, NY. Sponsored by the
Preservation Trades Network and Gateway NRA, the theme of the workshop
is "Partners in Preservation." Experienced craftspeople and related
professionals will address the application of preservation technology
to treatment of historic structures through hands-on demonstrations,

Accessibility (NCA) is offering this training, which will provide an
understanding of the needs of people with disabilities and the
application of the principles of Universal Design to interpretive
programs and exhibits to achieve accessibility. The first day of the
training program will be a required disability awareness seminar,
mandatory for all participants who have not attended an NCA core
course or NCA disability awareness seminar in the last three years.
