Two Roads To Reopen On Saturday

The park continues to recover from flash flooding caused by heavy rains on the weekend of October 14th. Willow Beach Access Road and Lower Portal Road will reopen on Saturday, November 4th. The former will open at 2 a.m. on Saturday as a courtesy to fisherman who like to access the area in the early morning hours. Lower Portal Road will be open to the river rafting concessioner and to canoe and kayaking permit holders from November 4th until November 26th, then will closed until January 30th for previously scheduled site improvements.
