The web sites appear below: National Mall and Memorial Parks - The NPS cherry blossom forecast is out. The bloom is expected between April 1st and 7th. DSC - DSC has updated and revised the construction management process found on Workflows WebPages, which provide concise guidance for project teams, architect/engineering firms, and construction management companies working on National Park Service projects. Jefferson National Expansion - From March 3rd to March 6th, the park hosted a major event commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Dred Scott decision. Death Valley NP - On Saturday, February 24th, the park hosted a fire open house. It was an opportunity for park residents and visitors to learn about hazard fuel reduction, fire mitigation and defensible space. Haleakala NP - Chief of maintenance Frank Baublits has announced his retirement following 27 years of service to the national parks and the American people. Navajo NM - Nancy Skinner, a 20-year employee of the federal government, has been named superintendent of Navajo National Monument, effective March 18th.
