OTHER NEWS The following stories (among others) can be read on InsideNPS: Glacier Bay NP - A program to keep cruise ships and other craft away from humpback whales is proving to be a success. No whales were struck in the park this summer, during which a record number of humpbacks were sighted either in Glacier Bay or just outside the park. The public joined park staff on October 23rd to break ground for the project.
