The following stories are among those in today's edition of InsideNPS:

Martin Luther King Jr. NHS - Over the course of the past week, the park held a series of events celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s 81st birthday. Events included musical tributes, readings from a book about Dr. King, and the National March.

NPS Alumni - Don Brown, a retired NPS ranger and superintendent, passed away on Wednesday, January 13th. He died at age 76 after a rapid return of cancer.

Herbert Hoover NHS - NPS retiree Frank Mobley passed away on Saturday, January 16th. Frank worked for the National Park Service from 1988 until his retirement last September. Photo.

Fire and Aviation Management - Jim Traub has been named the national fleet and pilot aviation specialist for the Service's aviation branch. Based in Boise, Jim will provide expertise for fleet fixed wing aircraft and pilots. Photo.
