National World War II Memorial - Approximately 100 persons braved 30-degree temperatures and sustained winds over 25 mph to attend a Tuesday ceremony at the World War II Memorial and honor those veterans who gave their lives in the surprise attack which ultimately led to the United States' entry into World War II.
Minority University Outreach Office - The 2010 Hampton University Executive Leadership Summit, held last month at Hampton University, graduated over 130 participants. Photo.
Antietam NB - After 37 years with the National Park Service, 15 of those as superintendent of Antietam National Battlefield, John Howard will be retiring on December 31st.
Whiskeytown NRA - Mike Martin will retire on December 31st after 27 years with the National Park Service.
History Division - One of the Service's most distinguished and productive historians, Dr. Paul O. Weinbaum, recently retired after a 37 year career in Northeast Region.
