Natchez Trace Parkway - On February 23rd, officials from the Natchez Trace Parkway signed a major NAGPRA repatriation agreement officially transferring custody of 124 Native American remains and over 200 funerary items from the custody of the NPS to the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.


Workplace Enrichment - Workplace Enrichment is starting a Servicewide network to help engage student employees. All NPS students, as well as employees interested in student employee development, are asked to complete a brief survey. A link is provided.


Northeast Region - Four eastern regions have released a document entitled "Rapid Response to Insect, Disease & Abiotic Impacts: Procedures to Protect Forest Integrity in Units of the National Park System within Eastern Forests."


Shenandoah NP - The 1700-acre Smith Run Fire in Shenandoah National Park has been contained. The closures associated with the fire have been lifted.
