Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation - The new Arborist Incident Response (A.I.R.) Team made its debut recently when members of the team responded to national parks in Northeast Region to aid in the cleanup efforts following Hurricane Irene.


Denver Service Center - Fred Brooke, contracting officer for Denver Service Center, is retiring on September 30th. Fred has more than 34 years of contracting experience, six years of that with the National Park Service. Photo.


Training and Conference Calendar - A compilation of upcoming training courses and conferences across the nation, plus online training. Added this week are the following - an NPS Scorecard and performance management training webinar next week, ICS command and general staff training in Denver, a new NPS Fundamentals II offering at Albright, and a new offering of introduction to park program management.
