Petersburg NB - Petersburg National Battlefield has obtained a new mobile education trailer, designed to transport hands-on materials, clothing and period items to any group or organization that wants to learn more about the Civil War and about the park.


Park Facility Management Division - The November/December issue of the Park Facility Management Division Update is now available on line. A link is provided to the web page.


Blue Ridge Parkway - Diane Foote retires on December 30th after 29 years of federal service, including tours with the Army, Air Force, Social Security Administration and National Park Service.


Hawaii Volcanoes NP - The park's volunteers were honored at a recent luncheon. More than a thousand of them logged nearly 90,000 hours of service this year, equal to about 43 full-time equivalent employees.
