Department of the Interior - A $20 million federal grant has been made to the state of Missouri for improvements that will better connect city residents and tourists visiting St. Louis with the urban parkland around the base of the Gateway Arch.


Fire and Aviation Management - The December edition of Wildland Fire News has been published and is now available online. This month's issue highlights the NPS fire science and ecology program.


Mount Rainier NP - Ranger Peter Maggio has received the U.S. Coast Guard's certificate of valor for a rescue he performed in the summer of 2010.


Intermountain Region - Tom Forsyth, contracting and agreements officer for Intermountain Region, will retire on December 31st after more than 30 years of federal service.
