Yukon-Charley Rivers
Ice Jams Cause Flooding In Towns Within Park
The Yukon River began breaking up last Thursday night and ice jams are causing flooding in Eagle and Eagle Village. Water and ice are lapping at the sides of buildings nearest the riverfront and Eagle Village is cut off from Eagle. Water levels have dropped some in Eagle due to a good flow in the main river channel.
