Sagamore Hill NHS - The boardwalk at Eel Creek, irreparably damaged by Hurricane Sandy in October, 2012, has been replaced and has reopened to the public. Office of Human Resources - The January 2014 issue of HR News to Use is now available online. A link is provided to the most recent edition. Glen Canyon NRA - Tug Kangus, the longest serving pilot in the National Park Service, Department of Interior and federal civilian workforce, has retired after an aviation career of over 50 years. Southeast Region - David Horne has been selected as the regional chief ranger for Southeast Region. He comes from Intermountain Regional Office, where he was branch chief for law enforcement and ranger activities. Blue Ridge Parkway - Steve Stinnett, who has served as chief ranger at Blue Ridge Parkway since 2009, is hanging up his flat hat on January 11th. * * * * The Morning Report is produced by the Office of Communications with the support of the Office of the Associate Director for Information Resources.
