Richmond NBP - On Tuesday, Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site and Richmond National Battlefield Park presented a program entitled ““In My Father's House,” a multimedia journey through the African American worship experience in Richmond from 1820 to 1865.


Northeast Region - Twenty-three students from across the country have completed Northeast Region's inaugural NPS Academy, held in New York City and hosted by the National Parks of New York Harbor.


Great Basin NP - Thirty-seven volunteers from Nevada, Utah, California, Idaho, Canada, and Australia gathered in the park last weekend to help clean Lehman Cave during its annual lint removal camp.


Southeast Region - Gordon Wissinger, chief of staff and deputy regional director for Southeast Region, will retire on April 3rd. He has served with Southeast Regional Office since 2009.


Sequoia-Kings Canyon NPs - The National Wildfire Coordinating Group recently presented its Award of Excellence in Wildfire EMS/Rescue to the National Park Service's Arrowhead Interagency Hotshot Crew and the Forest Service's Horseshoe Meadows Interagency Hotshot Crew.
