The Canoemobile, which carries six hand-made, 24-foot Voyageur canoes, travels across America to bring environmental literacy and dynamic outdoor learning experiences to urban youth. Today's Almanac - A nor'easter moving up the East Coast will bring rain to coastal areas and snow to inland regions. Red flag warnings are again up in southwestern California. Cane River Creole NHP - On November 5th, Cane River Creole NHP hosted its first naturalization ceremony. Eighteen new citizens were sworn in at the park's Oakland Plantation entrance pavilion. Independence NHP - The New Americans Tour offers a journey through the sites and attractions that tell the story of our nation's founding and shed light on the immigrant experience in Philadelphia and the United States. Northeast Region - Erik Kreusch has been selected as Northeast Region cultural anthropologist, joining the region's archeology and ethnography programs.
