Sand Creek Massacre NHS - Native American descendants of the victims of one of the darkest chapters in U.S. history gathered with supporters and other park visitors last Saturday and Sunday to recognize those killed 150 years ago at the Sand Creek Massacre.


Today's Almanac - Another Pacific storm system will bring rain, freezing rain and high elevation snow to an area from central California to the Canadian border.


Division of Regulations, Jurisdiction and Special Park Uses - Carrie Rose Wilkinson, a regulations program specialist in the Washington Office, passed away unexpectedly on the weekend of November 22nd following a short illness.


Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot NMs - Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments celebrated National Native American Heritage Month with nine special events and more than a dozen demonstrators representing American Indian tribes of Arizona and New Mexico.


Glen Canyon NRA - On November 21st, the sixth Brent McGinn and Laurie Axelsen Scholarship was presented to Jeffrey Leininger for being the “Best in Class” at the Northern Arizona University Seasonal Law Enforcement Training Program.


Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island NMs - Caval Farrell has been selected as budget analyst at Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island. She assumes her new duties at the end of this month.


Servicewide Training Calendar - Added to this week's calendar are the following - an NREMT refresher with a focus on tactical EMS, webinars on improving NPS team capacity to analyze and transform stakeholder conflict in park management, and several new FLETC offerings.
