CANYON-STORM

Thunder beats a cymbol to the lightning's flash -
Vivid streak of brilliance in the sullen crash!
Raindrops - Needles Jagged pelts,
puddles forming rivulets with pin-point welts.

Water pouring earthward in great blank sheets,
Forcing desperate rodents to daring feats -
Momentary fury from a
raging sky -
Rumble, clash, and glit and it passes
