His body was found the next day, face down in the river, a quarter mile south of the park's south entrance. The victim was exceptionally unstable and subject to seizures. He wasn't reported missing because he was hiking solo and was a new employee with no acquaintances in the area. Visitors involved: Name Address DOB or age M.T.P. The bear attacked both hikers, moving back and forth from one to the other, then left. J.B. had both arms broken and flesh shredded from the arms; P.D. suffered punctures and scratches and also had flesh shredded from one leg. They were able to walk to help, and both were in shock.
