Summary:
G.D. was reported overdue from a fishing excursion at 1:00am Sunday, 4/20.
A search was initiated with personnel out all day on Sunday. On 4/21, at
9:00am, a search helicopter spotted G.D.'s overturned boat in 8' of water.
His body was found at 7:00pm that night.  Windy conditions had been noted in
that area over the weekend. No foul play suspected. Autopsy pending. Family
notified.

Summary:
Patrol ranger noticed B.J.V.'s car left unattended for a long period of time
in the Tuweap C.G. Further investigation showed a backpack with wallet,
money, and food left at the campsite.

A search was initiated by park personnel on 4/18. On 4/19 B.J.V.'s body was
discovered 400' below the rim at a point not far from the campground.
On 4/20 a ground party was able to recover the body. Accidental fall rather
than suicide has been considered as cause of death.
