Summary:
Mrs. R.P. lost control of the vehicle, ran off road and hit a pole. Victims
were extricated. Mrs. R.P. was medivaced and pronounced dead at the
hospital. Her husband was taken to the hospital with lesser injuries.

Summary:
Child was with a group of people and evidently strayed away without being
noticed by the others. A park ranger was notified and a search was started.
Three hours later her body was found. Death clue to drowning. Coconino
sheriff's office is investigating.

Summary:
K.F. was a member of a climbing party on the mountain. They had
begun the last leg of the climb in the early hours of the morning and were
crossing a snow bridge when it gave way. K.F. fell 80' into a
crevasse and died of injuries. Because of warm weather and snow conditions,
the body was not removed until the 28th.

Summary:
T.S. was swimming approximately 30' from shore when he began to call for
help. W.B., a companion of T.S.'s, was on the beach and entered
the water to help T.S.. By the time he reached the victim, T.S. had gone
beneath the surface of the water. W.B. searched and found the body and
brought it to shore where he started to perform CPR. Park rangers arrived on
the scene, along with the coroner who pronounced T.S. dead. Next of kin has
not been notified.
