Summary:
J.R., the chief of interpretation at Canyonlands, was killed last
night in a one-car accident outside of Grand Junction, Colorado. No further
details are known at present.

J.R.'s father, was a career employee of the NPS, and retired as
Southwest Regional Director in the late 1970's.
