Summary:
Two fishermen found the body of J.R., 51, of Las Vegas, NV, on the
bank of the Virgin River with a gunshot wound in his chest. A hand gun at
his side and other evidence collected by the county coroner indicate that
J.R. died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Incident Summary
The body of R.E., 53, of Brooklyn, New York was found with a gunshot
wound in the head. A suicide note and revolver found at his side indicate
that R.E. died of self-inflicted wounds. U.S. Park Police and the New
York Police department are investigating.

Incident Summary
Park rangers received reports of 2 bomb threats by unknown persons
identifying the Denali Lodge as the target of the threats. The bomb squad
from a local Army base has been called in and they are searching for the
device with a bomb dog. At last report their efforts had been unsuccessful.
