OPERATIONAL NOTES

1) A recent article in a forest homeowners' publication warns
that old Servel gas refrigerators manufactured from the 1930s to
the 1950s may produce deadly quantities of carbon monoxide.
These occur when they are improperly adjusted or the burners are
partially plugged. These types of refrigerators are commonly
used at Forest Service outstations. A commission has been
established and will give $100 in exchange for these old
refrigerators. Servel has a tollfree hotline for information
18007827431. [SEKI]
