MORNING REPORT, MONDAY, AUGUST 26, 1996 - POST SCRIPT

Today's Morning Report contains information on obtaining an electronically
transmitted version of the draft of NPS-53, the special park uses
guideline. If you chose to obtain the guideline, please be aware that
there are two important changes to the instructions:

o The instructions on the README.1ST file advise you to establish
separate subdirectories for each compressed file, direct the files
to them, then decompress them. The file entitled 53 inadvertantly
includes a separate README.1ST file. When you expand the 53 file,
it therefore tells you that a separate README.1ST file exists and
asks you if you want to overwrite it. The answer is NO. You don't
want to overwrite the instructions that come with the files.

o Once you have downloaded the files to the separate subdirectories,
you will have to expand them. In order to do so, go to the
appropriate subdirectory via WP 5.1, then use Control-F1, Option 1,
to go into DOS. When in DOS, type in the file name - 53 when in the
53 subdirectory, PROCEDUR when in the PROCEDUR subdirectory - and
the files will self-expand.

Questions should be sent to Dick Young at Colonial (NP-COLO).
