Civil War Sites - The Civil War Preservation Trust (CWPT) has issued its annual list of the nation's ten most endangered Civil War battlefields as part of its “History Under Siege” project. Four are National Park Service sites.

Midwest Region - Timothy S. Good, currently a management assistant in the Midwest Regional Office in Omaha, has been selected as the superintendent for Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site in St. Louis.
