Servicewide - Throughout the National Park Service, from Atlanta to Alaska, interpreters are joining a new credentialing network that supports students using online learning tools. More than 100 experienced interpreters have already chosen to become local registered coaches for the interpretive development program's new distance learning platform.

Gettysburg NMP - The park's old visitor center, replaced last year by a new, state-of-the-art facility, is now being torn down as part of the effort to restore this part of the historic battlefield.
