Ellis Island NM - The remains of the immigrant ferryboat Ellis Island, sunk at its slip at the island for more than 40 years, have been raised and removed, clearing the area for future use by other boats.


Learning and Development - The Department of the Interior's learning management system, DOI LEARN, is scheduled to upgrade to the latest version of the current vendor's product near the end of this coming February.


Legislative and Congressional Affairs - This week's update on past and upcoming hearings and the status of legislation pertinent to the National Park Service.


Harpers Ferry Center - Harpers Ferry Center interpretive planner Paul Lee will retire on January 1st0 with over 40 years of service in the NPS. Photo.
