Longfellow NHS - The park celebrated its connections to Southeast Asian culture in August through a series of events organized in partnership with a local organization, including a festival called “Thailand Legacy: The King and Cambridge.”


Wilderness Stewardship - The 46th anniversary of the Wilderness Act and the launch of the Society for Wilderness Stewardship, a national professional society for wilderness managers, scientists, rangers, educators, and stewards, both occurred on September 3rd.


Fire and Aviation Management - The Division of Fire and Aviation has just released its second issue of FAMNEWS: News from Fire and Aviation Management.


Alaska Region - A career scientist and public land manager, Susan L. Boudreau has been named as superintendent of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve.
