Denver Service Center - A new interactive website has been established that connects users to rivers and waterways in the National Water Trails System. An interactive map and new search functions make it easy for users to find national water trails throughout the country.

Office of Human Resources - The NPS HR community is working to assess and identify gaps in proficiencies within its existing workforce and to plan a structured training and development program for the human resources staff of our future. As a first step in this process, three assessment surveys will be issued electronically on February 18th.

Office of Communications - Secretary Salazar has directed the National Park Service to undertake an Asian American Pacific Islander theme study to investigate the stories, places and people of Asian American and Pacific Island heritage.

Office of Legislative and Congressional Affairs - William “Gordy” Kito and Charles Beall were selected in December as the National Park Service's Bevinetto Fellows for 2013-2014. 

Denver Service Center - Retired NPS landscape architect and past DSC associate manager Robert Lewis Steenhagen passed away on February 5th.
