Cape Cod NS

Woman Drowns Off Race Point Beach


On the morning of November 2nd, rangers responded to a 911 call reporting that a woman had been swept out into the ocean by waves off Race Point Beach. The woman's body was recovered in Cape Cod Bay off Hatches Harbor within the hour.


Assisting agencies involved Provincetown Police and Fire Rescue, the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Provincetown and the Massachusetts State Police.
