Homestead National Monument of America - The Homestead Quarter - the 26th quarter in the U.S. Mint's America the Beautiful series - was released this past Tuesday at an event in Beatrice, Nebraska.


Death Valley NP - Representatives of the National Parks Conservation Association's board and advisory council recently spent the better part of four days in Death Valley National Park, learning about important issues facing desert parks.


Fort Pulaski NM - On February 9th, the park held an exotic plant management in-service training session. The course provided information and identification tips on the park's exotic and invasive plant populations.


Fort Laramie NHS - Park employees recently said their final good-byes to Oliver, an NPS horse that resided at the fort for over 10 years following nearly 24 years of service at Theodore Roosevelt NP.


Servicewide Training Calendar - The following have been added to this week's calendar - a driver instructor training class at FLETC, a symposium in St. Louis on mid-century modern structures materials and preservation, a motorboat operator instructor course at Everglades, and a search management course in California.
