Great Basin NP - The park held two lint removal and cave restoration camps this winter, the first over a three-day period last month and the second over two days in March. During these five days, 46 volunteers spent nearly 500 hours cleaning numerous sections of Lehman Cave.


Gateway NRA - The American Littoral Society, whose home office is in the Sandy Hook Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area, celebrates the 50th anniversary of its all-volunteer fish tagging program this year.


Civil War To Civil Rights Program - A recently published book, Asians and Pacific Islanders and the Civil War, is now out and available. It joins two other books in a series recounting the contributions of diverse ethnic groups in the Civil War.


Office of Legislative and Congressional Affairs - This week's update on past and upcoming hearings, newly introduced bills, and the status of legislation of interest to the Service. This report covers activities in Congress through March 13th.
