Natural Resource Stewardship and Science - The Natural Resource Stewardship and Science Directorate recently released an unprecedented review of ungulate management across the entire agency. The report reveals that native and non-native ungulates now occur across at least 56% of all NPS units, comprising over 98% of NPS lands, with twice as many non-native species as native species present.


NPS Alumni - Marian Albright Schenck, 93, daughter of past Director Horace Albright, passed away on April 17th in Red Bluff, California.


Intermountain Region - About 5,000 people were present at Oklahoma City National Memorial on April 19th for a ceremony marking the twentieth anniversary of the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.


Office of Relevancy, Diversity and Inclusion - Six Employee Resource Groups have been formed to advance the goals of relevancy, diversity and inclusion throughout the National Park Service.


Operational Leadership - On April 22nd, several NPS Operational Leadership partners gathered at Rocky Mountain National Park for a special project geared to conveying the compelling personal message of one of the park's rangers.
